Hi :) I am Leonardo. Growing up in a small town with limited access to technology, I developed an early passion for finding ways to improve our daily lives, particularly when it comes to the environment and our health.

My academic journey reflects that curiosity. I hold a PhD in Mechanisms of Disease and Regenerative Medicine, specializing in cardiac differentiation, as well as a Master’s degree in Biological Engineering. Over the years, I have loved diving into diverse, interdisciplinary projects—everything from optimizing biogas production to advancing biomedical research—which has led to 15 co-authored publications.

I am deeply interested in exploring biological processes at both the micro and macro scales, and figuring out how to leverage that knowledge to create things that genuinely benefit society. My true passion lies in harnessing complex scientific insights to craft practical, innovative solutions.
