For history: At 11:33 Lisbon time, we experienced a blackout. This blackout spanned from Portugal to the south of France, with a possible root cause in Spain. Electricity returned at dinner time, at about 9 pm. At the time of writing, what caused the blackout is unknown. To be honest, there was no major impact on daily life, besides the fact that we could not use electronics. In Portugal, we also lost telecommunications. Overall, it was a nicely forced afternoon enjoying the sun as human beings used to do before the advent of electricity. in the news
